Established business seeking a full time delivery driver. Driver will use the company vehicles.
5 day work week Mon-Sat, with Sunday + 1 weekday off.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
-Maintaining a professional appearance of yourself and company vehicle
-Following specified routes and special instructions
-Completing deliveries and pickups safely and in a timely fashion
-Updating delivery status in timely fashion and communicating any issues with dispatch
-Preparing packages for delivery
-Keeping shop tidy while not out making deliveries
-Courteous and professional interactions with customers, recipients and colleagues
-Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
-Valid Driver's License
-Clean driving record
-Effective and clear communicator
-Experience in floral industry preferred
-Must be comfortable driving in all weather conditions
-Able to work overtime hours during floral holidays (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas, etc.)
-5 day work week - Must be able to work Saturdays - day off will be set day Mon-Thurs
-Willing to work occasional Sunday hours when needed
-Expected to work occasional late night rental pickups for flat rate bonus pay ($100+)
-Basic PC operation and typing skills (will train on our specific system)
-Must be able to lift 50 pounds
