Are you an experienced and skilled Heavy Duty Diesel Technician? Join our dynamic team in Elgin, Illinois, and become part of a professional and hardworking fleet repair shop dedicated to excellence.
Position Overview:
We are looking for motivated Heavy Duty Diesel Technicians to join our team. Our shop operates two shifts to accommodate our growing workload and provide flexibility to our team members.
Shifts Available:
First Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Paid lunch from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Second Shift: 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Paid lunch from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Compensation:
Pay is based on skill level and experience.
Flexible employment options: W-2 or 1099 positions available.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair engines, transmissions, and other critical systems.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Adhere to company and industry safety standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Diesel Technician.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines and diagnostic tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).
