Job duties/responsibilities for a dispatcher:
- Dispatching for the current day and scheduling for the next day
- Responding to emails and text messages
- Book, edit and quote customers reservations using various means of communication
- Using a multi-line phone system
- Verify the routing and special requirements for each trips
- Ensure the drivers will reach their pick-up location in a timely manner for each and every trip
- Use Chicagoland geography knowledge and traffic patterns to efficiently route 30 drivers
- Be familiar with Farming out / Farming in procedures
Other duties on as needed basis:
- Receiving and placing phone calls
- Taking reservations for travel
- Data entry, basic MS Word and Excel
- Maintain solid customer relationships
Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Customer service orientation and diplomacy
- Strong PC skills / typing skills
- Multi-tasking capability
- Detail oriented
- Dispatching in limo or taxi
- Strong geographical knowledge of Chicago and suburbs
Requirements:
- You must pass pre-employment test
- Weekends are a must, Saturday or / and Sunday
- 40 hours weekly
- Must be flexible with your schedule
- Overtime available
