Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Lube Technician & Vehicle Inspector to assist with fleet vehicle maintenance. The ideal candidate will be proficient in oil changes, routine maintenance, and detailed inspections to identify necessary repair work. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and proficiency with computer systems for logging inspections and diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform oil changes and routine maintenance on fleet vehicles.
Conduct comprehensive safety inspections and identify potential repair needs.
Utilize computer systems for diagnostics, data entry, and report generation.
Inspect brakes, tires, suspension, and other key vehicle components to ensure compliance.
Maintain detailed records of services performed and necessary repairs.
Communicate inspection results with fleet managers and service advisors.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
Experience as a Lube Technician, Fleet Technician, or similar role.
Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.
Ability to use computer systems and diagnostic tools for inspections.
Attention to detail and ability to identify repair needs.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
