We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Over the Road (OTR) Truck Driver to join our team. This position involves transporting goods across long distances while adhering to all federal, state, and company regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving and managing no touch freight, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of cargo.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a tractor-trailer for extended periods, typically on long-haul routes.
Transport no touch freight, minimizing physical loading and unloading of cargo.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate records of mileage, hours of service, and cargo details using electronic logging devices (ELD).
Follow all transportation laws and regulations, including weight limits and safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding route, delays, and inventory.
Manage routes efficiently, optimizing for fuel efficiency and timely deliveries.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle's interior.
Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients during the delivery process.
Qualifications:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Clean driving record, with no major traffic violations in the last 3 years.
Minimum of 2 years’ OTR driving experience or equivalent in a related field.
Familiarity with no touch freight operations and procedures.
Ability to operate a tractor-trailer safely and efficiently.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Reliable and self-motivated work ethic with attention to detail.
