Job Description: We are seeking a self-motivated Safety Manager to oversee our fleet safety and compliance programs. This role involves ensuring adherence to all safety regulations, providing driver training, managing incidents, and handling administrative tasks related to safety and compliance. We welcome candidates who are eager to learn and grow with us, even if they have less experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
Conduct safety meetings, audits, and inspections.
Oversee vehicle inspections and maintain a drug-free workplace.
Incident and Claims Management:
Manage insurance and broker-related incidents.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain Driver Qualification (DQ) and maintenance files.
Handle filings for various permits and registrations.
Manage documentation such as titles and TripPaks.
Asset and Resource Management:
Manage fuel cards, PrePass, Bestpass, GPS, and tablet accounts.
Track company assets and monitor fuel consumption.
Driver Recruitment and Management:
Schedule and manage drug testing procedures.
Screen potential drivers and process necessary verifications.
Qualifications:
Experience in the safety department within the transportation or logistics industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask effectively.
Creative problem-solving skills and sound decision-making abilities.
Team player with leadership potential.
Bachelor's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Our support team ensures continuous operations during nights and weekends.
