A software company located Chicago is looking for a strong Java developer to work on their consumer facing web application. This company aims to provide individuals with a search engine that's most applicable to their user preferences. The primary skills needed include java and RESTful web services. With expected growth to be 2x what it is now, this person will play a key role in platform expansion.
Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of Java 8 development experience
• Experience with web services (SOAP, REST)
• Microservice experience

Desired Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of Java development experience

• Microservice experience
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
• UI experience a plus

The Offer

• Competitive Pay: Up to $50/hour, DOE
• Contract Duration: 6 - 24 Months
