We are seeking a part-time Equipment Repair Technician. This is a hands-on role focused on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment of various types, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Work Schedule:
This is a part-time position, approximately 2 days per week, with flexible scheduling available. Ideal for someone looking for regular work without a full-time commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment, such as forklifts, pumps, compressors, small engines, and machinery
Perform mechanical repairs, adjustments, and routine maintenance
Diagnose mechanical issues using tools, manuals, and schematics
Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Communicate clearly with customers and team members regarding repair status and recommendations
Requirements:
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experience
Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical systems
Familiarity with tools and diagnostic equipment
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
Valid driver’s license (if driving is required for field service work)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with industrial equipment such as forklifts, small engines, compressors, and pumps
Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
Welding or fabrication experience a plus
