He/she functions as the first line interface with patients/customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.FTE: 0.5 (40 hours every two weeks)Responsibilities:Utilizes markers on a consistent basis. Instructs and prepares patients for radiographic and/or fluoroscopic examinations. Demonstrates overall knowledge of exams. Produces high quality films on a consistent basis. Understands and properly uses CR, the PRID, ADC Multiloader, and QS workstation.Writes complete patient histories for the radiologists. Utilizes PACS with few errors. Demonstrates overall efficiency of work and time. Utilizes slow time constructively, i.e., stocking rooms, emptying linen, putting away supplies, helping transport, etc.Assesses patient pain interfering with imaging procedure. Makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.Demonstrates knowledge of how to access Pyxis, what medications are available for what procedures and understands that the doctor verifies the correct medication upon receipt.   Practices medical and surgical aseptic procedures (i.e. good handwashing).Multitasks in several areas.Acknowledges exams on a timely basis and completely.#NMDI#LI-MC1
