Clean Harbors is seeking a Manager of Branch Operations to aid in managing field and operations with a strong focus on health & safety, compliance, productivity, profit & loss, and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will assist with projects aimed on improving the overall development of the Technical Services LOB with a focus on identifying inefficiencies and developing best practices to ensure that the business is positioned for continued growth and success. This role will develop and report on Key Performance Indicators as well as enable standardization of execution of the TS Lines of Business.This is an office-based role. Develop and implement projects and process improvements to improve Technical Services LOB.
Develop Key Performance indicators for specific Lines of Business to report metrics that provide a view into our performance in various TS Lines of Business, as well as stack rank branches.
Monitor productivity and profit margins while striving for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with key members of LOB to enhance system tools.
Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules
Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements
Safely observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures
Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
Performs other duties as assigned
Experience creating and understanding budgets including analysis and creation
Excellent computer skills with applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to maintain effective professional relationships while leading/mentoring in a team atmosphere
A team player, with the ability to be a collaborative team member and supportive leader
Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner
Strong attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills
Leadership experience
Perform physical functions per job requirements
Willingness for limited travel; 50-75%
