VP/Director of Finance

Description Director of Finance (Hybrid 3 days on site ) to join our team in Downers Grove, Illinois. As a key member of our team, your main role will be to provide financial insights that guide the decision-making process for current and future business opportunities. You will also be tasked with overseeing the financial aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other investments, and developing financial materials for the Board of Directors.For immediate consideration: email your resume to danielle.tubero@roberthalf.c0m or call Danielle at 630-368-1175 Responsibilities: Analyze and translate financial information into key performance metrics to provide critical information for decision-making regarding investments and future business direction. Direct disciplined budget planning, analysis, and forecasting across company departments and other business segments as needed. Provide financial advice and counsel to management and other employees in decision-making roles on a day-to-day basis. Oversee the financial aspects of potential mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, and assist with the orderly transitioning of any mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures in respect to financial systems and reporting. Develop and enhance reporting processes, providing management with accurate, timely, and strategic budget planning, analysis, and forecasting on a short- and long-term basis. Prepare reports for the Board of Directors and handle presentations. Analyze financial statements and recommend profitability improvement measures and actions to leverage and improve business results. Communicate financial reporting management within the company, including distribution and explanation of the department financial reporting. Facilitate the establishment of the company's five-year business plan and manage the budgetary process to enable success in meeting the 5-year plan.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred 9 years of experience in finance or a related field Proficiency in creating and managing annual budgets Demonstrable experience with financial modeling Familiarity with budget processes and the ability to implement necessary improvements Proven track record in executing mergers and acquisitions (M& A) Proficient in the use PowerBI and Strong leadership and management skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to strategize and solve problemsFor immediate consideration: email your resume to danielle.tubero@roberthalf.c0m or call Danielle at 630-368-1175 Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
