Ingram Marine Group is hiring for a Port Mate in East Carondelet, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for supply receiving, inventory, distribution and dock and property maintenance. Must live in the East Carondelet, IL area. What you will be doing:Receive, maintain, communicate and distribute vessel supplies to company vessels and warehouse.General upkeep, maintenance and organization of dock landing barges and crew boat.Facility and Parking area maintenance/ upkeep for appearance and operation. Maintain the grass and fleeting areasAssist with the Security for dock, office, company equipment, and vessel personnel parked vehicles.Custom Fuel Service Support.Maintain inventory of landing for restock. (Ex lock lines, appliances, extra supplies)Maintain dewatering pump and hose inventory and conditionVessel crew members support.Oversees Fire Extinguisher Program for the facilityOversee and participate in re-spudding of Fleet and dock barge when moved due to changing river conditions.Ensure all vessels at dock and dock strings are secure.Responsible for Housekeeping needs when they arise.Inspection of dead men and shore wires and other fleet securement systems.Support department activities with regular and prompt attendance.Utilize Helm for Facility inspections, safety meetings and drills
