Job Title: Millwright ApprenticeJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Millwright Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to join the apprenticeship program and work towards becoming a licensed professional. The role involves working on a variety of construction projects, including industrial plants and commercial construction sites.Responsibilities
Regularly change drive chains, bearings, belts, and other parts of machinery.
Calibrate and set up new machinery for others to use.
Dismantle or discard outdated equipment.
Assist with operating certain types of machinery.
Inspect equipment and test to ensure safe and correct operation.
Assemble machinery following blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
Fabricate brackets and mounts to hold equipment safely.
Use welding and other skills to create parts of machinery.
Install electrical conduits or wiring to help machines run correctly.
Diagnose potential problems with machines and repair them.
Essential Skills
Experience in construction and mechanical fields.
Mathematical inclination.
Strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in assembly and general labor tasks.
Skilled in using hand and power tools.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
Experience with welding, blueprint reading, and hydraulics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma.
Valid Driver's License.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
