Pay starting at $34.50/hour as a Senior Tech & starting at $41.50/hour as a Master Tech. Technician shall have the ability to converse with a variety of contacts to successfully complete an assigned project. contacts include but are not limited to direct personnel, managers, airport authorities, material and equipment suppliers, as well as other FMP technicians from other areas of the US. Qualifications To qualify for this position at the FV-G level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-F, FG/GS-9 level. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized Experience for this position includes: Heavy equipment operator, heavy equipment mechanic, engine generator technician, surveyor, electrician, welder, plumber, pipefitter. Experience in trade or craft (such as carpentry, concrete, roofing, masonry, gas and diesel mechanic) may be credited as specialized experience if the work provided intensive knowledge of techniques, methods and procedures.
