Our client in Chicagoland area is seeking a Senior IT Network Engineer with the following experience:

• 10+ years of Network Engineering skills including, but not limited to, Wireless, Routing, Switching, Network Security, Voice, Data Center, Storage
• Expertise with general switch builds

location: Evanston, Illinois

work hours: 9am to 5pm

education: Bachelors



responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of Network Protocols and OS (OSPF, HSRP, BGP, TCP/IP, etc.)
• Knowledge of VPN, Firewalls, IPS, Load balancing, Cisco Access Points and Controllers
• Ability to configure, troubleshoot, upgrade, migrate, and support Cisco hardware/ devices - routers, switches, controllers, ACI [Cisco 9300, 9800, 8500, etc]
• Skilled in troubleshooting and installation of WAN/LAN/VXLAN/ VLAN networks

qualifications:

• Prior project experience with large distribution builds and conversions
• Ability to work mostly onsite and travel (
