Think super-sized Lego building…Then picture moving up to 2,000 Lego barges in and out of the fleet on a monthly basis…You have now entered the world of Fleet Dispatch!  This is a fast paced, high-impact, time sensitive environment.Ingram Barge Company, the leading carrier on America’s inland waterways, is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the team as a Fleet Dispatcher in the Granite City, IL office. This position will report to the Manger, Fleet Dispatch and responsible for safely and efficiently designing and expediting tows, coordinating the movement of barges in the fleet, scheduling staff, and coordinating vessel refueling. Successful dispatchers are detail oriented and have strong organizational, logistical, and analytical skills. They can evaluate situations, make decisions quickly and move on to the next item on the agenda.
