Job Title: CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 3Location: Chicago, IL (Franklin Park Campus and Elk Grove Village Campus)Pay Range: $40/hr. - $45/hr.Contract Duration: 6 - 18 MonthsWhat’s the Job?
Complete tasks listed in the CE Tech Level 1 and Level 2 role descriptions.
Support electrical infrastructures across datacenter campuses, including large-capacity and smaller facilities.
Perform Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdowns, Power Distribution Unit (PDU) shutdowns for power meter replacement, and Power Interruption Testing (PIT).
Assist with master controller shutdowns or replacements and other critical electrical systems maintenance.
Utilize and monitor Building Management Systems (EPMS) and ensure compliance with safety standards.
What’s Needed?
OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification (Required).
Experience working with electrical systems in high-availability environments such as data centers, refineries, hospitals, or manufacturing (Required).
5+ years of work or applied learning experience in technical fields like automotive, electrical, controls, or data centers (Required).
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (Required).
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
What’s Preferred?
Previous datacenter experience.
Fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code.
Qualified Electrical Worker certification.
