The Medical Students Coordinator reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.Responsibilities:The responsibilities of the Medical Students Coordinator include, but are not limited to working in collaboration with the Medical Education Director, CME Committee, Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFUMS) to coordinate medical students onboarding, rotation assignments, lectures, and other medical education activities as described below:Onboarding of medical students:Ensure systems access for medical studentsPlan and coordinate orientation day, including Epic trainingSet up meetings between the Medical Education Director and the medical studentsPoint person for the Student Registered Nurse Anesthetist program (SRNA)Rotation assignments:Coordinate with medical students on which specialty they preferCoordinate with the departments on the rotation assignmentsCoordinate medical education activities:Coordinate didactic lectures for medical studentsPlan and coordinate the Northwest Region Internal Medicine Grand RoundsEnsure compliance of medical education standardsAdministrative functions:Develop and maintain onboarding, orientation, rotation assignment, and medical education filesProvide administrative support for the Medical Education Director when neededArrange meetings and record meeting minutes
