Our company is currently looking for a Self-Loader/Knuckle-boom/Crane Operator(heavy equipment operating experience will work) with FLATBED EXPERIENCE. This truck is dedicated to a yard in the OTTAWA, IL. We specialize in hauling/loading/unloading NO TARP wooden utility/transmission poles.
ATI Trucking has an Owner Operator opportunity on one of our Self Loader/Crane/Knuckle-Boom trucks. Driver must have FLATBED and KNUCKLE-BOOM / SELF-LOADER experience (equivalent heavy equipment operating experience will be considered in lieu of knuckle-boom exp.) We specialize in hauling NO TARP Wooden Transmission/Utility Poles. You will be running mostly out of our OTTAWA, IL Pole Yard but must be open to running out of our MANSFIELD, OH yard randomly as well (not often at all). This is a local/macro regional job that will have you home every night if you live close
Minimum Requirements:
- Class A CDL, 2 years minimum.
- Flatbed experience, 1 year minimum
- Knuckle Boom/Self Loader or equivalent equipment operating experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Loading/Unloading trucks
- Unloading Railcars
- Making local deliveries approx 250 mile radius of Ottawa Pole Yard
- Picking orders, shuffling poles into/out of bunks
- Experience with oversize loads is preferred (Some loads are legal but some may be up to 100' long)
- Storm response (weekend) - Have to react immediately in times of need, extra compensation
- Working as a team to take care of customer needs
