It’s about contributing to society, as well as making a profit.Description of Job:This role is responsible for the long-term inventory planning; ensuring inventory projections are fully aligned with the business, commercial and supply chain inventory strategy. Evaluate and control regional inventory, minimizing inventory loss by incorporating best supply chain practices. Run and provide visibility about inventory ageing process to optimize inventory and to ensure a healthy balance between product availability and NWC impact. Control SLOB task force in IBP and S&OE processes avoiding reprocessing cost, write-off, or service level impact. Control and report improvements, risks and opportunities and action plan cross functional to deliver inventory results. Responsible for working together with Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning and Finance team to build the best inventory projection plan to please our customers and avoid impact in our NWC targets.Feed finance cash flow process and SMR team with insights to enable the decision-making process to achieve the best balance between service level and cash impact based on business priorities and customer’s needs.Principal Responsibilities:

Setting Policies around Service Level Strategies with the Business to deliver NWC targets, gaining commercial and financial alignment, including integration within the Cash Flow financial plans; monitoring closely inventories turns, SLOBs and material ageing.

Implement and control rightsized inventory methodology to optimize inventory and capacity, improving product availability and visibility to the entire company.

Responsible for the scenarios planning related to Inventory and NWC impact, including action plan to close gap including the financial trade-off behind it.

Responsible for inventory classification, control, and maintenance to ensure right balance amongst product availability, service level and NWC impact.

Responsible for ageing process in the region, control and understand the root causes avoiding SLOB increase, write-off, and reprocessing manufacturing cost.

Responsible to map opportunities in key building blocks for inventory balance such as: forecast accuracy, FEFO process and MPS conformance and address them to the right area of expertise.

Responsible to lead SLOB attack task force in key feeder meetings such as RCCP and Demand Control, also IBP adequate forum.

Responsible for performing inventory projections using planning output and statistical analysis.

Responsible for continuous improvement in “Turning Data into Information Process” through Extract/Transform/Compare/Analyze/Deploy & Report methodology.

Ensure total connection with procurement process understanding key inventory tactical impacts such as supplier lead time, inventory life cycle.

Engage and educate the whole company about inventory management.

Support Order Planner/Customer Service/DRP to define which product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers.

Deploy and train users regarding inventory management “what good looks like”; track, measure relevant KPIs and address RCA and Action plan and pertinent.

Implement and maintain systematics processes to accommodate inventory strategy into day-to-day execution planning tools.

Use industry standards and best practices as baseline for inventory strategy.

Translate inventory Strategy into ERP/Planning tools.

Executional data management activities for designated system inventory planning attributes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Experience in an Operational Supply Chain Planning role.

Experience in analytics and/or BI (business intelligence).

COGS and statistical understanding, comfortable with math and numbers.

Excellent time management skills to manage business growth in a rapidly innovative environment.

Strong continuous improvement, problem solving and collaboration skills.

Self-motivated, organized, creative with proven leadership skills.

Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Team & people oriented, professional while always displaying a “can-do” attitude.

Experience in End-to-End supply chain processes.

Experience in Project Management within Supply Chain and business cross functional.

Excel advanced level.

Experience with NWC structure and cash flow process.

Team player, collaborate with business units and functional partners.

Solid operational management and general business skills.

Comfortable and capable of communicating strategy and results to business leadership and senior management.

Experience:

A minimum of three (3) years of supply chain or related experience.

Background in supply chain planning, inventory management, master scheduling, materials mgt., demand planning, S&OP, and IBP.

Strong knowledge of supply planning process.

Ag-Chem experience is a plus.

Knowledge of supply management tools, manufacturing, and supply chain business process.

Extensive spreadsheet/reporting analytics and strong mathematical abilities.

APICS certification or ability/willingness to obtain.

Minimum three (3) years’ experience with SAP or any planning tool.

Experience using an established ERP system.

Education: Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
