Maintenance TechnicianCurrently hiring a Maintenance Technician in the Lockport, IL area. Hiring immediately.Pay: $35-$40/HR. $2 shift differential on overnights.Shift: Training on 1st shift M-F 7am-3:30pm.Will move to overnight shift (12hrs) rotating (2-2-3 schedule): 6pm-6am.Job Description:
Troubleshoot and repair blowing molding machines, extrusion machines, conveyors, and other equipment.
Role will include both mechanical and electrical repairs, as well as facilities repairs when needed.
Must utilize blueprints and schematics for repairs and will be responsible for setting up and changing over machinery.
Writing PLCs and working with AutoCAD, thermoforming, sheet/roll fed, heater bands, and sequencing.
Perform both preventative and reactive maintenance
Troubleshoot and repair blowing molding machines, extrusion machines, conveyors, etc.
Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs
Handle facilities repairs as needed
Utilize blueprints and schematics for repairs
Set up and change over machinery when necessary
Write PLCs and work with AutoCAD
Work with thermoforming, sheet/roll fed, heater bands, and sequencing
Essential Skills:
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (PLCs)
Experience working with up to 480V's
Competence in mathematics (fractions, adding/subtracting, measuring, etc.)
Ability to read and use blueprints and schematics
Experience with mechanical repairs and troubleshooting
Own tools
