This position entails monitoring the infant security system, implementing associated policies, and maintaining a clean and secure environment, including neonatal beds.Key Responsibilities:Communication:

Engage in effective communication with patients and/or their families while upholding security guidelines.

Demonstrate competency in handling visitor conflicts and concerns while maintaining strict confidentiality of patient and departmental information.

Medical Records:

Prepare new patient charts for admissions and manage completed records and patient-specific materials post-discharge.

Infant and Patient Security:

Participate in unit-specific security and safety activities.

Ensure accurate maintenance of computer census, promptly respond to security alarms, and monitor traffic flow.

Unit-Specific Activities:

Maintain accurate unit-specific logs and assist with tasks assigned by unit managers or charge nurses.
