Documentation Management: Maintaining accurate, complete, and timely dangerous goods paperwork and ensuring proper distribution to all necessary parties, including shippers, carriers, and regulatory authorities.Regulatory Compliance: Inspecting shipments, verifying documentation, and ensuring proper labeling and packaging of dangerous goods in accordance with applicable regulations (e.g., IATA, DOT).Training and Safety: Responding to incidents involving hazardous materials and potentially training staff in safe handling procedures. Also, ensuring their own and the facility's compliance with dangerous goods packaging and shipping standards.Load Management: Monitoring the receiving and packing of shipments to ensure turnaround times are met and coordinating deliveries to freight forwarders upon completion of packing.Customer Service: Maintaining close communication with customers and following their packing instructions, as well as providing excellent customer service to foster and improve customer relations.
