Responsibilities:Investigational Pharmacist plays a crucial role within the client Clinical Pharmacology Research Unit), enhancing the department's reputation through pharmacist expertise in phase 1 investigational drug trials.This position involves accurate dispensing, compounding of investigational medications, meticulous documentation, and strict adherence to procedure-based workflows.The pharmacist will manage inventory and oversee all aspects of investigational product handling, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory authorities (FDA) to ensure 100% compliance.The position will deal directly with client Quality Assurance and Quality Control regularly, to enhance existing processes and help author new process to enhance subject safety and ensure data integrity.Additionally, the role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office/Teams within a matrix work environment, with a strong sense of chain-of-command and effective communication with a multitude of different subject matter experts.Top Skills:Nursing home experience.Long term care experience.Hospital investigational pharmacy.Sterile Compounding.Managerial experience.
