Description Robert Half is seeking a highly organized and proactive Military Outreach & Workforce Development Coordinator for John Deere in Moline, IL. This is a hybrid role (4 days onsite, 1 day remote), with hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Paige, Christin, and Erin are great points of contact to learn more on this role!Job ResponsibilitiesMilitary Outreach Coordinator:

Manage and facilitate the military outreach and hiring process

Track candidate progress using SharePoint

Deliver monthly and quarterly updates on military hiring

Strengthen partnerships with veteran support organizations (VSOs) and coordinate military career fair support

Workforce Development & Community Giving Coordinator:

Track and report youth apprenticeship program data in SharePoint and Power BI

Coordinate the FIRST Grant Application process, including initial reviews and follow-ups with reviewers

Organize mentor assignments for the FIRST program, working with site coordinators and community grant reviewers

Provide logistical support for Inspire Program meetings, conferences, and events

Act as a subject matter expert for employee giving programs, supporting site maintenance and creating training aids as needed

Coordinate and support unit volunteer events and community relations budgets

This role is perfect for a candidate with excellent project coordination skills who is passionate about making an impact through social responsibility and workforce development programs.

Requirements

Key Skill Requirements:

Proficiency or willingness to learn Power BI and Excel

Understanding of project management fundamentals and planning

Strong organizational skills and ability to address repeat issues for improved outcomes

Excellent communication skills to liaise across teams and partners
