This role is hybrid remote with 60% monthly in-office presence in Mount Prospect, Illinois. (3 days in office per week).Lead the engineering effort as a member of a cross-functional project teams (Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Project Purchasing, Quality, and Manufacturing) to develop new power tools or power tool accessories.Responsible for the design, development, validation, and execution of new products for the consumer market.The Project Engineer is responsible for the engineering activities of the project(s) to achieve successful market introduction including targets for timing, performance, and financial targets.Use creativity and applied engineering theory and principles to investigate and solve design and engineering problems. Work closely with the development team to create solutions for customer needs.Develop or assist in the development of test plans.Track and oversee test plan and assure testing is done properly and is relevant.Assist the Project Leader, Product Owner or Engineering Manager in directing and monitoring the project activity.
