The Truck Tire Assembly Dept. Manager will:Responsible for effectively coordinating all manufacturing activities in assigned department.Accountable for ensuring that department meets organizational goals and objectives. (safety, quality, cost, volume, scrap, and customer satisfaction)Sets goals and objectives for the direct reports.Communicate and review performance with direct reports.Capital expenditures, project planning and implementation.Coordinates all manufacturing activities in assigned department to continuously improve workflow, work product, and employee and customer satisfaction across departments.Cost reduction, quality / uniformity, reduce process variation, analyze BOB process.Communicates instructions and accurately report problem areas, and corrective actions. Monitor progress in achieving assigned objectives.Effectively manage, coordinate, and communicate all activities such as Tire Engineering, Housekeeping, Safety/Security, Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, Production and Material Control, Process Engineering, Accounting/Finance, and Maintenance/Plant Engineering.Escalation of high-risk topics to the plant management.Perform other duties as directed by leadership.Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.
