Supervises a team to ensure quality and timely handling of files.

Monitors colleagues' workload, productivity and training needs.

Monitors unit A/R and liaisons with examiners/clients and corporate finance for reconciliation.

Advises management of trends and issues with recommended course of action.

Performs quality review to ensure assigning and invoicing protocols are met and in compliance with quality standards and client/carrier protocol.

Maintains contact with the claims team.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs other duties as assigned.

Supports the organization's quality program(s).

Travels as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.

Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions.

Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.

QUALIFICATIONSEducation & LicensingBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Licenses as required.ExperienceSix (6) years investigative industry experience, including two (2) years of supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Skills & Knowledge

Thorough knowledge of claims investigation processes for multiple product lines

Leadership/management/motivational skills

Strong organizational skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent negotiation skills

Excellent oral and written communication

PC literate, including Microsoft Office products

Ability to work in a team environment

Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
