Job Description:
Essential Functions:
Creating clear and concise documentation for both business and technical users.
Working with SMEs, developers, and other team members to gather information and identify end-user needs.
Creating and customizing online Help systems.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree. Required Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years experience in writing software documentation.
Basic understanding of documentation and content development strategies.
Proven mastery of the English language and the ability to write in a clear, concise, and easily understandable fashion.
Ability to implement lessons learned and best practices from prior releases.
Ability to self-manage daily responsibilities.
Technical Competencies:
Experience using wiki authoring tools such as Confluence.
Experience using screen capture and image editing tools such as Snagit.
Experience using Adobe Acrobat to create and finalize documentation PDFs.
Desired Experience:
Experience using an API tool to create API documentation.
Background in creating consistent and standardized documentation for products that run on varied and diverse platforms.
