Job Title Windows Network System Administrator
Location - Niles, IL Hybrid 2/3 days
Salary - $80 100,000 + small bonus
Key points:
Systems Administrator
3+ years of general IT experience including some responsibility with Windows Server and Active Directory, software support, firewalls, switches, and general networking.
Exposure to Linux and some PowerShell or Visual Basic programming experience preferred.
1. Degree in an IT/IS related field or 3-5 years equivalent experience
2. 3-5 years of experience with Windows Server and Active Directory domain experience
3. 3-5 years of experience with Linux (preferred)
4. 3-5 years of experience with software support
5. 3-5 years of experience with manufacturing processes
6. 3-5 years of experience with firewalls and switches (Fortinet and Cisco experience preferred)
7. QMS (Quality Management Software) experience a plus
10. Scripting and Programming experience a plus
11. Azure experience a plus
12. Strong quantitative, analytical, and reporting skills
Job Purpose: The System Administrator is responsible for building critical operational processes to maintain the standards and organization of KOBAYASHI's systems. These systems include but are not limited to servers, client computers, network equipment, bar code systems, plc system, and display systems. The Administrator is also responsible for IT project management, servers, and communication hardware. They are responsible for creating and distributing reports as well as documentation and compliance audits. Other duties as assigned by the IT Manager.

Point of contact for related IT operations and projects
Manage access, security, and data for assigned systems
Assist in the IT operations
Project Management
Manage Backups
IT POC for the Quality Management System
Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software
Manage document control policies
Work with operations and management on data and process compliance.
Support Infrastructure including servers, networking, and programs
System support duties
Other duties as assigned by the IT Manager
