Job Title: Production SupervisorJob DescriptionSince 1955, ND Industries has specialized in the development of innovative materials and processes which increase the safety and reliability of fastener assemblies. Headquartered outside Detroit, Michigan, ND serves a global market with 9 divisions in the continental US, facilities in Taiwan, and licensees around the world. ND’s core business revolves around the application of a wide variety of materials onto fasteners and assemblies to aid in functions such as locking, sealing, masking, lubricating, and noise and vibration dampening. ND also manufactures a line of bottled adhesive and sealant products under the Vibra-Tite brand name for MRO and retail use.1st Shift: 6:30am - 3pm // Overtime for 1st shift will be 2 hours before the shift 4:30am - 3pm (2 hours of available overtime a day)
Pay Rate: $26.60/hr.
Responsibilities:
Will be responsible for employees, machinery, and production in the Micro area.
Oversee 8 pieces of equipment and ensure proper output, documentation, and employee operation on them.
Machinery includes: Micro/Plastical/Bell Machine/Harley Machine/Bi-Seal/Long-Vibertech.
Maintain control of output of production rates.
Ensure operators keep track of output production.
Ensure production areas remain organized and free of scattered product/material.
Perform 1st and final piece inspection and perform required documentation.
Keep an inventory of raw material.
Ensure materials do not run out and place orders with management as necessary.
Continuously ensure liquids/coatings do not run out.
Work EnvironmentThe environment can be loud and a bit rougher, it is an older facility.
