Description We are in search of a Division Controller to join our team near Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. This role involves overseeing all aspects of accounting and finance, supporting all departments including sales, marketing, service, and production, and maintaining regular communication with support center teams. Responsibilities: Oversee the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for each location. Prepare clear reports and presentations on financial results, cost trends, and key performance indicators. Perform detailed financial analysis on account balances at the end of each period. Track and control costs, identify savings opportunities, and propose strategies to optimize spending. Manage daily operations of the accounting and finance function, ensuring accounting policies and procedures are implemented. Handle Accounts Receivable responsibilities including daily deposits for all departments, account reconciliation, and collection calls as needed. Develop annual budget, financial forecasts, and periodic reports for management. Collaborate with operations and functional departments to collect and analyze KPI’s. Work closely with Support Center team members in the preparation of tax returns, R& D credit claims, and complete sales tax returns and other government remittances. Review and maintain inventory standards, monitor, and record variances timely. Evaluate current accounting processes, propose recommendations for improvements, and implement new processes where needed. Manage all relationships with vendors, customers, and suppliers.Requirements Must hold a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role or related financial field Proficient in using 3M Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Understanding and experience in CapEx management Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Ability to handle all Accounting Functions efficiently Prior experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) Knowledge and experience in Budget Processes Must ensure Compliance with all relevant regulations Strong background in Finance and Accounting cycle Experience in Financial Reporting is required Excellent Collaboration skills to work with different teams Strong Communication skills to effectively convey financial information to stakeholders Demonstrable Leadership Skills to guide and motivate the team.
