Job Description

As a Senior Strategic Planner, you will helps bring market insights together with our business capabilities. You willalso be responsible for continuously scanning the business environment, always looking for opportunities for growth and development.

You do this by executing within 3 key areas:

  1. Market Intelligence
  2. Strategy and Business Planning
  3. Business Development

For each of these key areas, some typical responsibilities will include:

Market Intelligence:

  • Gather and maintain up to date information on market potential, market shares, market segmentation, competitive landscape, etc. at granular and aggregate levels. Transfer this market knowledge and insights to internal organization and guide the business plan and strategy development.
  • Conduct macro and industry environmental analysis on a regular basis, evaluate the impact of the same to AA business. Develop action plan for securing our business and pursuing future opportunities.
  • Conduct / lead market research, customer satisfaction survey and brand funnel analysis to support strategy development.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the regulatory environments to identify or forecast trends and pursue opportunities for future growth

Strategy and Business Planning:

  • Lead the annual business planning process from market potential evaluation to delivery of business plan for the following year
  • Create sustainable strategy for AA-NA to achieve targeted sales volumes and market shares

Business Development

  • Conduct business field analysis to identify and evaluate new business areas to support AA-NA's future growth plans
  • Lead the development of business models and value propositions, identify and secure resources. Implement actions needed to realize new business models.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Automotive required, MBA preferred
  • 5-7+ years of experience in sales, product marketing or business development
  • Very good understanding of global and North American automotive industry
  • Highly result-oriented: Ability to work on multiple time-sensitive projects
  • Self-learner: Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team atmosphere
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Teams proficiency

Must be eligible to work in the US without VISA sponsorship. Not eligible for VA/VN assignment.
