Description We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. This role involves managing, supporting, and maintaining all IT applications and network technologies. Responsibilities: Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of all IT applications and network technologies Collaborate closely with the IT Director to meet end-user needs and participate in IT projects and initiatives Regularly communicate with users about system changes and maintenance schedules Develop, test, and maintain business systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability Provide timely support and training to end-users, helping them to utilize systems effectively Respond promptly to help desk requests, troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime and disruption Install and maintain network hardware and software, ensuring the network remains secure and operates efficiently Manage Active Directory, ensuring users have the correct access rights and permissions Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, utilizing strong problem-solving skills Perform network upgrades as needed, keeping systems up-to-date with the latest technologies and security measures. Requirements Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Systems Administrator role or similar Proficiency in Cisco, Citrix, Cloud, Dell, and Firewall Technologies is required Experience with AB Testing, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, and Cluster Analysis is necessary Knowledge of Computer Hardware, Network Administration, and Network Cabling is essential Familiarity with Fortinet Firewalls and Microsoft Suite, including Microsoft 365 Enterprise, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Windows Experience with Intune is a plus Must possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary Must be able to effectively multi-task and manage time efficiently A high degree of discretion dealing with confidential information is required Professional certification in Systems Administration or related field is desirable.
