81564BRJob Title:Scale Clerk – Ottawa, ILDepartment/Function:Operations: Manufacturing, Production, Maintenance, UtilitiesJob Description:Scale Clerk – Ottawa, ILThis is a full-time, non-exempt position.This position reports to the Terminal Location Manager.This position will perform scale operations and all attendant activities, customer record maintenance for the location, and provide logistics and general office support. Performance of this position shall include but not be limited to activities as detailed below for each support area. Unless specifically noted below, these functions shall pertain to apply to both Camanche and Clinton terminal locations.Scale Operations:

Weigh trucks in and out, capturing all required customer information on each load

Match pick orders with load requests to assure proper material is loaded

Direct trucks to proper terminal location for loadout

Communicate inbound truck traffic to yard employees

Apply inbound trucks in Agris and verify resulting inventories in Agris and in inventory spreadsheets

Run customer delivery sheets weekly to verify tonnages and inventories

Customer Record Maintenance:

Maintain log of all relevant orders and supporting documentation

Enter data into and accurately maintain customer inventory records, including data entry into customer supplied inventory and order maintenance systems

Communicate receipts, shipment, and inventory activity to customers as required

Prepare necessary records and documents to support customer invoicing, supply data to Office Coordinator for submission to corporate accounting for month end processing.

Transportation Support:

Communicate railcar and barge releases to customers and barge lines/rail carriers

Release and bill outbound railcar loads

Track inbound barge and rail traffic and report to location manager

Tracking and monitoring railcar demurrage

General Office Support:

Reception, phone, mail, and associated clerical duties. Clean office

Filing documents and maintain location customer files

Maintain location AP files

Perform location support function for payroll, including weekly processes in Attendance Enterprise, tracking vacation, leave, and any other payroll related data and report as required.

Maintain office supply inventory

Maximo: create PO’s, receive, and invoice

Handle general customer and vendor inquiries and direct as needed

Provide scale clerk position back-up for other location
