Description:The CMM Programmer writes CMM programs based on the measurement requirements and designates any necessary CMM fixtures, tools, and accessories. They also create and load the CMM program into the machine controller and verify its accuracy. Quality plays a significant role as the programmer needs to ensure that measurements are accurate and in line with design specifications. Write/edit and maintain CMM programs with PC-DMIS Train operators on CMM operation. Create and maintain database of CMM programs. Create reports from scans in Polyworks. Train inspectors on Metrascan and Romer arm operation. Create schedule for audit inspections of fixturing. Maintain audit report. Write/edit/maintain Romer arm programs.
