Join our team to help build a better, more sustainable world for future generations!Job Summary :As the Global EHS Manager for Caterpillar’s Electric Power Division (EPD), you’ll lead efforts to create a culture of care, identify and prevent high-severity incidents and introduce supporting tools and processes. You’ll work with peers across the Energy & Transportation segment – and the corporate team – to share ideas, challenges and best practices. This role leads a global team of environmental, health and safety professionals to execute the enterprise’s Safety Driven strategy, including compliance, auditing, education, employee development, change management and more.What You Will Do:Guide and coach division and facility leaders to understand and embrace the enterprise safety strategy, including a focus on Human & Organizational Performance (HOP) and Serious Injury and Fatality (SIF) preventionDrive cultural transformation initiatives across the division, with a hands-on approach that engages production employees and front-line leadersDevelop and deliver strategies and tools to continuously measure and improve Electric Power’s environmental, health & safety performanceServe as divisional point of contact with corporate teams and across peer groups for training and best practice sharingTop Candidates Have:What you will have:Degree RequirementMinimum of a bachelor’s degree in the following fields: Environment, Health, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or science related.Preferred: Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalentExtensive Ability to Communicate for Impact : Knowledge of the concepts, tools and techniques for effective listening and communicating; ability to apply these theories to receive, transmit and accurately interpret information and ideas to influence others in various situations.Working Knowledge of Managing Change : Knowledge of the necessity to adapt self and team to evolving business needs; ability to develop and implement new ideas and initiatives that improve the organization's performance in light of new requirements.Extensive Experience with Strategic Thinking : Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.Expert Knowledge in EHS Policy Compliance : Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies; ability to implement EHS policies to ensure that provided products and services are safe for people and the environment and in compliance with legal requirements and standards.Extensive Experience with Matrix Management : Understanding of the importance of being able to leverage external resources when required and ability to build and use effective working relationships within own department and across department, functional, and geographic reporting lines.Additional Information

This position may sit from Dallas, TX, Griffin, GA, Alpharetta, GA, Mossville, IL, Peoria, IL, or Lafayette, IN as a hybrid flexible role.

This position may require up to 30% travel, both domestic and international. This will include visits to EPD facilities, corporate conferences / trainings, and field service locations.
