Actalent is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer in the Peoria area to support a large fabrication area! Job Description:
Assist in digitizing welding processes.
Perform time studies.
Create 3d models and 2d views of weld cells and process flow.
Validate tooling dimensions.
Use MRP system to build out process routings.
Assist in other engineering projects for welding area.
Skills:Manufacturing engineering, Process engineering, Process improvement, assembly, Lean manufacturing, Continuous improvement, Creo, CAD Top Skills needed:
Manufacturing Engineering experience
Knowledge of welding/fabrication
3D modeling/CAD skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
4 year degree in Engineering field preferred, but not required with equivalent experience
3+ years of professional Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
MS Office Suite
