Trillium Staffing has openings for Injection Machine Operators available immediately.
Injection Machine Operators are primarily responsible for making sure that good quality parts are being produced by their machine and recognizing when to alert the supervisor should the quality of those parts decrease.
Description
The essential duties and responsibilities of this positions are as follows:
Follows the routing instructions which differ for each individual part
Monitors machine to see that it continues to produce parts on a consistent cycle
Can effectively recognize various part defects and communicates to the supervisor when they arise
Documents measurements on the gage sheet
Counts parts and documents on running count
Trims/nips parts as needed and packs parts according to the customer packing specifications
Sets up the scale properly for weight of parts
Maintains a clean work area at all times
Measures parts using calipers, micrometers, and pin gauges
Cleaning of the machines and your work area is required
Other duties as assigned
We currently have positions available on second shift and third shifts. Second hours are 2:45pm 11:15pm, Monday Friday and third shift hours are 10:45pm 7:15am, Sunday Thursday. Overtime will be required depending on production schedule and workers should plan on working six day rotations. Pay is $11.50 - 12.50/hour based on shift. These positions are full time and temp to hire.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree
- Manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- Possesses basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
