Job Description SummaryThe Services VCP Finance Leader is a key financial and operational partner to help the Global Services Franchise drive 130 million plus of variable cost productivity, which is a margin expansion driver for entire GE HealthCare. This role provides real-time analytics, as well as specific and actionable recommendations for the leadership of Global Services HQ and Regional teams to optimize their material spend, labor force and other variable cost structure in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will continue to function as a true operating partner to our Services Productivity GM, thus providing increased information visibility to key operating metrics (such as in-quarter pacing to make immediate adjustments). The creation of these new metrics, the operating rigor around them, and the enhanced visibility to data has resulted in a pro-active, instead of reactive, mindset and culture. In addition to VCP, the role is responsible to manage 30m+ P&L related to Global Training (including the GE HealthCare Institute) and Service Operations (productivity costs).Job DescriptionResponsibilities :

Partner with Global Services Productivity GM, Segments & regional teams to drive operating performance & act as champion for strategic initiatives within the organization

Ownership for developing estimates (current quarter & current quarter +1), operating plans/forecasts/reviews, Strategy LTS (3-year Plan), & Budget (1-year Plan)

Partner with operations to prioritize and secure funding for VCP projects

Partner with VCP leader and Operations to deliver 3-5%+ Variable cost productivity on overall Direct Material, Labor & OVC’s.

Develop metrics to evaluate VCP project performance (pre-& post-launch)6. Lead cross-functional projects to drive simplification throughout the organization and to improve rigor in key Finance processes, reducing costs & improving profitability

Develop global standards on VCP reporting, calculations and metrics to drive consistency across the regions and segments

Develop and improve financial processes, standardizing across all regions: Potential items could include, finance reporting tools, management reporting tools, budgeting and estimating processes, & capital investment criterion/selection & review.

Manage 30M+ P&L for Global Training (Incl. HCI) and Service Ops cost by improving financial processes and reporting, identifying opportunity to reduce costs and increase efficiency, managing P&E, ensuring compliant reporting of all costs incurred at quarter end, running monthly estimates, operating plans, reviews, and budget

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and minimum of three years of financial work experience or High School Diploma/GED and minimum of five years financial work experience including developing forecasts & operating plans and leading business / finance reviews

Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas

Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in an easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing

Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, COGNOS, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e., pivot tables, VLookup, and Macros)

Fluency in English

Confidence / Assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend position; for example, work closely with business leaders to achieve business objectives while driving controllership/GE Values

Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows

Experience successfully leading cross-functional projects and process improvement within the operations/finance functions; able to quickly grasp new ideas.

Experience in a matrixed environment

Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others

Good understanding of financial compliance: SOX, GAAP

Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma

Graduate of GE's Financial Management Program (FMP); or Corporate Audit Staff (CAS); Experienced Financial Leadership Program (EFLP) or graduate of other financial leadership programs
