If you want to advance your career while contributing to a vision that helps our customers redefine the aerospace industry, then consider landing here!Role OverviewThe Customer Service organization is seeking an experienced Aftermarket Spares Pricing Manager. The Aftermarket Pricing Manager will work within the central Customer Service Sales Operation team and also has responsibility for the Power & Controls spares pricing function. The Aftermarket Pricing Manager will be responsible for leading the development of cross business unit proposal pricing efforts, spares pricing strategy for Power & Controls, conducting market trends forecast, and analyzing our competitive advantages. This includes developing and implementing standard work, identifying best practice and maximizing process efficiency in order to support functional success. The manager is also responsible for generation and coordination of presentations and other materials in support of Collins and Customer requests as required. Support efforts to continue our standard operating system (ACE) at Collins.Primary Responsibilities:

Directs and monitors day-to-day marketing analysis processes and activities to ensure that they meet the organization’s short- and long-term business objectives and comply with regulations and standards.

Directs research activities to provide accurate and timely market and competitor information for strategic and operational decisions.

Assists the overall marketing team in developing and implementing a sales and marketing strategy at the country or local business unit level to improve the organization’s competitive position.

Formulates and researches pricing policy, recommends sales channels, and assists in product promotion to determine potential sales of a product and maximize sales.

Contributes to formulating Sales and Marketing plans, guidelines, policies and short-term strategies, as well as setting goals and targets, to ensure consistency with the organization’s overall mission, vision, and objectives.

Performs analyses in the areas of product preferences, potentials, sales coverage, market size, penetration, competitor assessments, marketing practices and trends, and prepares forecasts and recommendations.

Researches market conditions in assigned areas to determine potential sales of a product or service.

Acquires information about developments in the government, military, economic, scientific, political, industrial and international fields as they apply to the organization's future marketing plans.

Gathers data on competitors and analyzes their strategies, prices, sales and method of operation.

Collects and maintains information on the requirements, organization, budget and preferences of prospective customers and competitors.

Organizes information to assist in analyzing future products and makes recommendations for the development of new products or services

Leading a team of two spares pricing analysts for Power & Controls transnational pricing.

Leading a team of two provisioning specialist who support our customer’s entry into service and other spares provisioning requirements.

Lead cross functional teams to provide guidance and execute the Collins annual spares catalog process including understanding pricing strategies within the business units and communicating the overall Collins perspective.

Lead aftermarket spares pricing proposals including Spares long term agreements and onsite support services

Conduct pricing analytics and competitive landscape analysis in support of change initiatives

Develop and obtain Collins business unit alignment for pricing process improvement opportunities

Development of various tools to support key sales effectiveness initiatives

NoteThis position can be located in Charlotte, North Carolina or Rockford, Illinois.QualificationsThe successful candidate will have experience in market research and trends, capture strategy, proposal preparation, business forecasting along with a broad knowledge of Aerospace products and technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience interfacing with customers and senior leadership to develop strategies that support business unit competitiveness and customer goals. Required skills include business development experience, a technical background or strong familiarity with the Aerospace Market, strong written and verbal communication, strong project management and strong presentation skills.Basic QualificationsThis position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience.
