Seeking an experienced medical billing and insurance Credentialling person for a part time, remote position working for a solo Internist with low billing volumes, but expanding practice. Telemedicine in multiple states, local in NW suburbs of Chicago and far northwestern Illinois. Position would involve working with Kareo/Tebra medical practice management software. Volumes less than 100 charges per month at this time. Credentialling for insurances in Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin and other states as needed. This is a remote work position. Ideally successful candidate would have at least 5 years experience in billing and insurance Credentialling, work as a 1099 contractor, hourly rate paid by direct deposit, hours of work are very flexible. Candidate needs to have experience with electronic billing, insurance Credentialling, posting of payments and followup with patients for payment of due balances by text and email, use of Tebra/Kareo to send email statements to patients.
