the groundUP s.s.i. is looking for someone to fill an open position for Laborer & Installer. We are a site maintenance company, specializing in Parking Lot Striping, Seal Coating, Signs & Asphalt Patching.
IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A 8-5 JOB, OR SOMETHING WITH A REGULAR SCHEDULE, THIS IS NOT THE JOB FOR YOU. WE WORK VARIOUS HOURS OF THE DAY OR NIGHT - INCLUDING WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS, ETC - DEPENDING ON OUR SPECIFIC CUSTOMER'S NEEDS.
Work will initially be a minimum of 20 hours per week, but could be as many as 50 (depending on weather & work load). We are looking for someone who can start IMMEDIATELY. Work will occur on most every weekend (Saturday and Sunday), and there will several days/ evenings during the week.

YOU MUST BE:
* Hard Working
* Responsible
* Well Organized
* Detail Oriented & Thorough
* Able to Take Directions
* Polite
* Able to Work Varying Hours during Any Given Week
* Able to Drive (YOU MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE - Preferably from Illinois - NO DUI's EVER)
* Able to Pass a Drug Test and a Background Check (you will be tested - if you fail for anything other than cannabis, you get to pay the bill. ALSO, Social Drinking and partying ok; falling down drunk on a regular basis, not so much - Also, Showing up to work drunk or stoned will get you fired).
* Able to Stand and Walk for Long Periods of Time
* Able to lift at LEAST 75 pounds
* Able to Prove legal citizenship
* Able to Actually SHOW UP to work on your assigned date at your assigned time.
