Dairy Herdsman
Modern 60-Cow, Robotic Milked, Dairy is seeking an energetic, outgoing, career-minded individual experienced in dairy husbandry who is willing to expand and grow their skills.
This Full-Time position will require attention to detail and strong communication skills.
The successful candidate should desire to be part of a team environment and flexible to the day’s tasks.
Duties include but not limited to:
Robotic Milker observation and routine maintenance.
Maintaining/bedding free stalls.
Calf Raising.
AI insemination skills a plus.
Treatment/and vaccination administration.
To improve sustainability, in the near future we plan to open the dairy to visitors/tours on a limited basis and expand to include farmstead milk processing and cheese making.
We are a registered Jersey herd, enrolled in performance programs.
This is an exciting opportunity to bring an established herd to the next level.
