Elite Fasteners, Inc., a family owned, ISO 9001:2015 registered leading manufacturer of cold headed and cold formed fasteners for over 30 years, is seeking a second shift dependable & hardworking cold header operator to setup and operate cold heading machines at our facility in Rockford, IL.
Minimum Job Requirements:
2 years experience in setting up and operating headers
Solid work ethic
Reliable
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team player
Basic reading/writing & math skills
Knowledgeable with blueprint reading & inspection tools
Willing to learn
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Setup & operate a variety of headers to produce good parts
Operate headers with regular quality checks to ensure minimum scrap & keep accurate piece counts
Maintain machines and tools
Follow all quality standards, work instructions and procedures
Promote & maintain a safe working environment
Troubleshoot & perform minor preventative maintenance on machines as needed
