Position Title: Industrial Painter
Wage: $23/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6am-4:30pm
QPS Employment Group is hiring an Industrial Painter at a great company in South Beloit, IL. Work in a clean manufacturing plant. The Industrial Painter will be personally responsible and committed to the quality of their own work. This is an associate to hire opportunity.
Industrial Painter Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate and maintain all the spray paint equipment
- Spray prepared surfaces with specified amounts of primers or finish coatings
- Mix and apply paint and coatings
- Start-up and shut-down paint systems
- Inspect parts to ensure they are ready to finish coat
- Maintain maintenance on spray guns, equipment, and paint booth
Industrial Painter Requirements:
- Industrial painting experience
- Must wear a paint respirator and PPE
- Lift to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Stand entire shift
- Twist, bend, reach, and stoop
- Work in moderately hot condition during the summer up to 90 degrees
- Ability to keep product moving through 2 paint booths
- Attention to detail
- Able to read and write in English
