Entry Level Sales Representative

Overview
The Field Sales Representative meets with homeowners face-to-face, explain available energy
programs, and help them see if they qualify
Responsibilities
-Run pre-set leads or create self-generated leads with potential customers
-Conducts brief in-home sales presentations for potential customers
-Meets minimum required sales targets as set by the sales leadership
-Develops effective self-generation sales strategies
Evaluate customers’ knowledge and needs, building productive long-lasting
relationships
-Attends required training, and follows our sales processes
-Maintains current knowledge of the latest industry developments
-Engages in local sales activities as defined by the metro market
Qualifications
-Ability to drive a vehicle during the normal course of business
-Ability to communicate to address customer needs
-Must be able to spend approximately 80% of work time traveling within your local market, although the time spent traveling may be far less as we continue to evaluate our virtual selling model and provide flexibility to our consultants
-Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license
Physical Demands
-Ability to drive to travel to and from customer locations
-Ability to get into and out of a vehicle multiple times per day
-May stand for an extended period of time while consulting with customers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
Compensation package:

-Commission pay
-Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards.

-(available working hours 9am- 8pm)
-Monday to Saturday
-Weekends as needed

1. The average annual compensation of a first year is usually around $60,000 - $120,000, but
for our top performers, the earning potential is dramatically higher. The top 10% of industry
Sales people have averaged around $300,000 in the past year.

Representatives are paid commissions based on their individual performance, individual
earnings will vary. The Average Annualized Compensation of Active Sales Representatives is the average annualized sales commission earned by all Solar Sales Representatives between
January 2024 and March 2025
