Duties
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including inspections and diagnostics.
Conduct electrical system repairs and troubleshoot issues related to vehicle performance.
Work with hydraulic systems to ensure proper functionality and repair as needed.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on vehicles.
Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively to complete repairs efficiently.
Provide tire service, including installation, rotation, and balancing of tires.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests.
Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in diesel technology.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on diesel engines and vehicle maintenance.
Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment relevant to diesel mechanics.
Experience with electrical systems, hydraulics, and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to perform tire service tasks effectively.
Previous experience working in a dealership setting is a plus.
