We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business needs.  This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.  Position Summary: The Director, Strategy, reporting to the VP, Strategy & Transformation, will play a pivotal role in executing strategic initiatives and leading transformational efforts for the US business. This role will lead the Project Management Office and the Network Design team, tackling critical business challenges and translating strategic objectives into actional plans for execution. Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Research external market trends and disruptions and translate how they apply to the company. Create compelling narratives and recommendations that drive automation and transformation

Support growth and/or confidential initiatives as requested by Senior and Executive Leadership Teams. This includes opportunity identification, scoping, proposal development and presentation

Lead the Project Management Office (PMO) function for the US business

Work with VP Strategy to develop and oversee the execution of the US Roadmap initiatives and objectives, in alignment to the organization’s global strategy

Communicate internally and externally the strategy narrative, articulating strategy, and tactics to execute the strategic roadmap

Ensure that all business activities, objectives, and imperatives meet and integrate with organizational requirements for world class project management and thought leaders in innovation

Drive and implement process improvements, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction both internally and externally

Engage with key stakeholders to ensure their involvement and support throughout the project and program lifecycle. Foster effective communication and collaboration between project teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery

Provide relevant executive updates and escalation on initiative progress, critical decisions, milestone achievement, and potential upstream and downstream impacts

Drive and support a culture of continuous improvement, maintain, and disseminate awareness and knowledge of best practices used globally and industry leaders

Be responsible for measuring the realization of benefits from the strategic plan ensuring reporting and action is taken to minimize cost and maximize profitability

Interface and influence discussions with our customers on key topics including digitization and supply chain evolution

Develop a high performing, self-managed team that can lead all types of strategic initiatives

Other projects or duties as assigned

QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field

10+ years of supply chain, warehousing, and logistics or continuous improvement experience, with 6+ years of experience in management

Proven track record of leading projects of varying size and scope on time and on budget

Ability to manage through influence and drive change

Motivated and capable of acting independently and prioritize work based on organizational needs

Proven track record of building and leading high performing teams

Ability to communicate, motivate and interact with all levels of the organization

Strategically align people, processes, and technology

Ability to foster an environment of trust, transparency, and respect

This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Warehouse and transportation management and/or operations management experience highly desired

Experience in delivering automation projects
