Responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical automation systems.WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:

2nd shift 2pm to 10:30pm 6-day work week, schedule with opportunities for overtime.

Starting hourly pay of $32 - $37, based on knowledge and demonstrated skill.

Yearly reviews and raises.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:

Monitors, assists, trains, and maintains crewing level of employees.

Ensures calls for maintenance are answered in a timely fashion and performs repairs/adjustments as required.

Operates, troubleshoots, and maintains mechanical and electrical automation equipment as needed and assigns or performs upgrades or changes to equipment if needed.

Monitors and observes equipment performance during production start-up, changeovers, and new installations, making sure it is operating to OEM standard or production satisfaction and is operational for production.

Requests parts, maintains, and assists in organizing equipment spare parts storage.

Provides coverage and or assistance as needed throughout facility to meet production schedules and or equipment needs

Ensures proper communication on pre-ops and changeovers between shifts and with other Leads to coordinate activities of individual departments.

Performs preventive and corrective maintenance, rebuilds, and calibrations according to work orders in SAP.

Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are followed and the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance are promoted.

Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, or rotating shifts required.

High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent required.

Two years Trade School in electrical or electronics field preferred.

Three years related experience and/or training in the following areas; Electricity, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, machining, and plumbing required

1+ years of experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, AC/Servo drives, motors, frequency drives, PLC’s, and controls required.

Previous food manufacturing experience is helpful.

SKILLS:

5+ years of industrial maintenance experience; food manufacturing experience is helpful.

Ability to use electric test equipment and take measurements accurately.

Ability to read, interpret, and revise documents such as equipment manuals, policies, instructions, and schematics.

Experience with computers including SAP, Microsoft, and PDF applications.

Ability to speak, write, and understand English. Ability to speak Spanish is helpful.
